The Smurf Experience

The Smurf Experience is an immersive international travelling exhibition.

Exposure, produced by Cecoforma, mix real sets, mapping, interactivity and virtual reality. Visitors experience the size of a Smurf through the exhibition that spans over 1500 m2.

The Smurf Experience first packed its suitcases in Brussels from June 2018 to January 2019, before settling in Paris in 2019 and continuing its journey to South Korea and Germany in 2020.

This exhibition will travel the world for five years.

Glitch worked on 2 elements of the exhibition:

  • The Infernal Machine, which links video mapping to interactivity.
  • The well, where Smurfs animations are integrated in augmented reality.
