When spectators settled in The Liège Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (OPRL) to attend the show "Carnival of Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns, directed by Luc PetitThey knew from the outset that they were going to experience an extraordinary experience. At the heart of this experience was not only the talented ensemble of the musicians of the OPRL, but also a troupe of more than thirty artists who were playing on stage, creating a real talent festival.
Among them, the actor Bruno Coppens brilliantly used his creativity to link the different adventures of this zoological fantasy while raising public awareness of the survival challenges some animals face.
To give life to each scene of this enchanting show, Glitch Prod has designed more than twenty sets projected on the floor. This video screening played an essential role in providing a captivating decor for artists, while transporting the public into the fascinating universe of animals evoked by music.
What made this projection even more remarkable was its ingenious use of the mirror in the background of the scene. The video projected on the ground was strategically reflected in the mirror, offering the public a double vision of the show, thus reinforcing the magic of the experience.
Imagine walking in the middle of the savannah, following the majestic steps of the elephant, or diving underwater to swim among the fish. The projection created a dynamic and constantly evolving visual environment, making each moment a new visual adventure for spectators.
The success was at the rendezvous, with about twenty performances all sold-out. The public was conquered by this artistic experience, which harmoniously combined music, dance, technology and visual art.
Following this triumph, it is highly likely that this show will be renewed in 2024, thus giving new spectators the chance to dive into the enchanting universe of Camille Saint-Saëns, staged by Luc Petit's undeniable talent. An opportunity not to be missed for an unforgettable artistic experience.
