At the festival Mons en Lumières 2025, Glitch Prod invested the Grand Place of Mons with Luciole, a poetic and immersive video mapping show projected on the iconic facade of the Town Hall.
Much more than just a visual show, Luciole is a real light and sound fable, thought to reach a large family audience. This modern tale plunges us into a mysterious forest, where a small firefly embarks on an initiatory journey to seduce the Moon. Through magical landscapes and glittering cities, she discovers that her light, however discreet, has the power to enlighten the world and to move hearts.
This project was designed to captivate young and old, with a strong narrative approach and delicate paper aesthetics, evoking the illustrated tales of our childhood. The whole was sublimated by a careful light and a Bewitching soundtrack, composed by Lionel Polis and Brieuc Angenot, carried by the soft and vibrant voice of Marcha Van Boven, and written with poetry by Fanny Libotte.
With Luciole, Glitch Prod signs a sensitive and accessible creation, which celebrates the beauty of perseverance, wonder and self-discovery. A suspended moment, out of time, where magic and poetry illuminated the heart of Mons.
