On the occasion of First edition of the Color & Light Festival, which was held in March 2025 to Asbury Park, New Jersey, Glitch Prod had the honor to present ÆQUINOX, a work of monumental mapping video.
Installed on the iconic facade of Paramount Theatre, ÆQUINOX explores the human condition through the balance between life and death, ephemeral and eternal. On the facade of the building, ancient statues, organic shapes and geometric patterns inspired by the number of gold are transformed under the effect of precise and powerful light sets. This dialogue between shadow and clarity evokes man's duality in the face of his passage through time and his quest for meaning.
The soundtrack, mixing subtle orchestrations and electro textures, accompanies this visual fresco as an expanding heartbeat. The projections reveal symbolic elements: skulls, sculptures, timeless figures accentuating the idea of a deep and inseparable link between life, death and the search for balance.
ÆQUINOX famous human in its fragile beauty, playing with the contrasts to remind that every moment, however fleeting, fits into a universal whole.
To give life to this monumental fresco, the team of A3 Visual mobilised a major technical mechanism:
- 17 Panasonic video projectors 35,000 lumens
- Use of Modulo Pi server media, ensuring optimal synchronization and fluidity

Presentation at the Lunar Festival of Lights
Following this first, a condensed version has been specially adapted for the Lunar Festival of Light. It was projected on National Gallery / Kvadrat 500, iconic Sofia building (Bulgaria), in a shorter format for participation in the competition "Legacy". This has allowed us to offer a new reading of the work and to open the project to an international public in a completely different architectural context.
