On the occasion of the opening of the new wing, "The Earth of the Cold", a famous Belgian animal park Dirty Monitor invited Glitch to participate in an interactive exhibition.
The audiovisual and interactive exhibition on polar bears takes place next to polar bear territory. The visitors are immersed in the universe of polar bears by traveling through different landscapes, from the Toundra to the pack ice, and different moments of the day, from dawn to nightfall.
The park wanted to do this exhibition to educate its visitors about global warming, ice melting and the impact these events have on polar bears. The exhibition takes the form of an immersive journey in which the visitor follows the polar bear from day to night.
Under the artistic direction of Dirty Monitor and on the basis of elements provided by their care, such as 2D animations, Glitch designed the sets and was responsible for composing the animations, with, among other things, an immersive panoramic timelapse mapping video that takes visitors to the ice cream 24 hours.
Thanks. Dirty Monitor for their trust.
